Google Play Store : Tired of "No Connection - Retry" Error

Google play store, the large place of lots and lots of applications available for android phones. On the other hand, Windows phone Store has comparatively less apps, but whats those available are useful. Coming to their access of stores to download apps, Windows phone wins as the Windows Phone store is much greater smooth and give almost no error unless internet connection of any type is not available. On the other hand Google play store many times gives error of no connection or takes much larger time to open. However this problem usually occurs when you have installed large number of applications and have not cleared history cache or your internet connection is very slow. Here we have tried to solve this problem of Play store. Lets see.

Just check out the below Settings and follow Instructions as per given. :-

Simplest thing : Check Date / Time Settings

In general, your time need to be correctly set for Google Play Services sync with their master servers to send and receive data.

You need to Clear Google Play Store App Cache

In case adjust the time setting did not work out for you, you may need to clear your Google Play Store App Cache to resolve the problem. Android OS keeps cache of Google Play Store items in order to quickly serve content to users and to save bandwidth at same time. However, sometimes it causes issues and be the main culprit behind connection error issue.
Instructions to be followed up
  1. Go to Settings > Apps
  2. Swipe right to ALL
  3. Scroll down and tap Google Play Store
  4. Press Clear Data button and tap OK

Least but not last - Edit the hosts file

Well this is only applicable if you've root your Android device. If you did, simply follow the video instruction below to learn how to edit hosts file to solve the connection issue. This method is claimed to be 100% capable on fixing the issue.


 However, this solution will work for about 70-75% of people.
