Farming Simulator Series is another best piece of entertainment and simulating the world of agriculture. personally even i also like this game since i am too related to the agriculture and its really adventures and most interesting things really. Moving back to the topic, but while playing one day i got a error with a mod that Giant engine is not responding. I tried several methods and finally the error fixed.Before Getting into solution Well, try to open log.txt (in documents\my games\farmingsimulator2013) and look for "callstack" and "error".
This problem may has several factors
Solution 1.
Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your video card!!!Nvidia users: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Intel users: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
AMD users: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
check if you have minimum requirements (intel graphics areproblematic with this game) and if you decide to post, add your log!!! You can find the log in My Documents–>My Games–>Farming Simulator 2011–>log.txt PC

Solution 2.
Change any of the settings of the game, set to "level medium (forced)" can you remember if this has always been this way or whether it was changed recently? Try lowering it to "low" and see if that helps any. Other than that I would do a system scan with a decent anti-virus just to make sure there is nothing hanging around in the background!Solution 3 .
do you use mods?, sometime mods can broke a game, if yes, i suggest you to delete your mods and try to star a new game, if all going well, it's because you have a bad mods they corrupt your game, so, you will need to find this bad mods, try reinstalling your mods one by one and try to start your game after each mods installed, if they game crash, you have found the bad mods...
I think the game work well for near all the people, so i don't thing it's the problem caused by steem or the game but because they have something they have changed your game, but sometime even if you delete all the mods the problem can be always there because the file they are changed are not returned to her default format before the mods change it.
